Cole and Mason Salt and Pepper Mechanisms

Cole and Mason’s standard mills are fitted with design-registered mechanisms and have a lifetime guarantee. All Cole and Mason’s mechanisms are fully adjustable and deliver the freshest ground pepper or sea salt in fine to coarse grounds.

Cole and Mason standard pepper mechanisms strip the peppercorns breaking them into smaller pieces and releasing the flavour slowly onto food, rather than crushing the corns and squeezing the pepperin oils out releasing the flavour very quickly into the atmosphere.  Stainless steel is an ideal material for the pepper mechanism because it will not corrode and is very sharp.

The standard salt mechanism has a unique antistatic and clog-free design. Nylon is both hard wearing, non-porous and does not absorb odours.

Electronic, inverta, Cole and Mason squeeze, animills and duo mills are fitted with ceramic mechanisms and are suitable for grinding salt and pepper.
