Mezzalunas (Hachoirs)
Our mezzaluna's are available either 14cm or 18cm stainless steel blades, plus we have a double bladed set that comes complete with a sculpted wooden chopping board to keep the blades in the perfect spot for cutting.
Mezzaluna's usually come in two forms; single bladed or with double curved blades, and are often used in the preperation or herbs. Mezzaluna is the more common name used in the uk and derives from the itallian for 'Half Moon', but is also know, in French, as the Hachoir.
